The Garden
Created on the foundations of an old French garden, this hanging garden is influenced by the taste for English parks very fashionable in the nineteenth century. From these two influences, it takes its singular appearance: a harmonious blend of lawn and symmetrical paths lined with hedges and boxwood.
All around the castle, colorful beds of roses and hydrangeas are raising the ash-gray volcanic stones. The terrace overlooking the valley offers at the east a view on the Cantal mountains, whose perspective is underlined by the game of aisles.
